New Membership Information

Keep up with what we’re doing! Become a member of the Atlanta Chapter of the Carver Alumni Association (ACCAA).  Membership costs $20.00 per year and goes a long way to help those we love:

Dear Friend of the Carver Alumni Association,

The Carver Alumni Association (CAA) was formed and dedicated to the legacy of Carver High School (CHS), Hamilton, GA in 1996 for the purpose of accomplishing the below objectives.  This school served as the primary educational institution for African Americans in the Harris County area from 1952 until 1970.  The cafeteria at Carver is now a museum and a wonderful tribute to Carver Alumni.  The original building is still located at Carver Circle, Hamilton, Ga.

The CAA endeavors to maintain the Legacy of CHS Hamilton and their descendants by commemorating the educational contributions made to students.  We will do this by:

• Maintaining, contributing to and supporting a CHS museum at CHS
• Contributing to and supporting the Carver Alternative School at CHS
• Maintaining an active CHS presence at annual MLK Day Celebrations
• Sponsoring scholarships for college-bound and college students of CHS Descendants
• Communicate information re: CHS activities via a quarterly newsletter
• Sponsor fundraising activities to raise funds to support CHS and Descendants
• Host an Annual Holiday Gala, which will be held this year on Saturday, December 15, 2018. Ticket prices and information will be forthcoming in our summer quarterly newsletter

To ensure the financial stability in delivering these goals, we are offering annual memberships in the ACCAA for a contribution of $20.00.  Please complete the attached membership form and mail it no later than March 1, 2018 along with a $20.00 annual fee (check or money order) to:
